The performer took to the Gemmell food court to a crowd just shy of 100 to get inside people’s minds for their entertainment and sometimes to their surprise.
Gary Johnson, a Sylvan Beach, N.Y. native, recently performed on the Clarion University campus. On Jan. 15, the solo artist sang and played guitar live in Gemmell Food Court.
Johnson is a part of the National Association for Campus Activities. Unlike other musical performers, Johnson’s show was strictly by “text-request only,” which meant that members of theGary Johnson crowd were invited to send him text requests for which songs they wanted to hear, and he played them.
