The season finale of “Riverdale” quickly approaches. With only two episodes left, fans are getting restless, awaiting the highly anticipated close of the show. Guesses about who killed Jason Blossom have run through social media outlets nonstop since episode one. Jason’s killer will finally be revealed when the season comes to an end.
More than just the reveal of the killer’s identity will transpire in the last episode. The drama between the Blossom and Cooper families will continue to make situations tense and relationships will crumble. The truth about Jughead’s father’s involvement will finally be exposed. So many questions will be answered at last.
Last week’s episode 11 aired. More drama within Betty and Jughead’s relationship ensued, as their family-lives continue to cause strife. Veronica’s ongoing struggle to testify for her father continues as she fights what she feels is right against what she feels she has to do. The relationship between Archie and Veronica develops further, creating even more stress in their friendships with Betty. Certain alliances form within the town, making many past relationships weaker in the process, as characters begin to question each other’s’ motives.
The further the season progresses, the more confused viewers seem about who really killed Jason Blossom. There has been skepticism about the Blossom family and their motives. Last week some secrets were revealed about the family, making them seem even more suspicious. Additionally, there has always been suspicion about FP, Jughead’s Dad, and his involvement with the Serpents makes his capability of performing illegal acts higher than most.
Given the amount of information known, anyone in the town could potentially divulge as the murderer. Jason Blossom was not the world’s kindest person, and, being that he is a part of the notorious Blossom family, he was well-known to most of the town, making him a target to almost anyone.
Episode eleven left viewers speechless as police finally arrested someone for the murder of Jason Blossom. With all of the accusations flying about as to who really killed him, as well as endless investigations occurring, the arrest left some fans confused. However, at the end of the episode, the characters discovered that the evidence which condemned the accused murderer was planted within his/her home, making them innocent. The show then ends on a cliffhanger, leaving viewers puzzled.
Tonight episode 12 premieres at 9 p.m. on The CW. It all leads up to the finale next week where it comes to a close. With all of the unanswered questions this show currently holds, the finale is sure to have its fans on the edge of their seats.
