Senate helps fund Cru trip

CLARION, Pa.- Clarion University’s Student Senate voted unanimously on Monday to allocate $1,200 to Cru for a trip to Florida during Monday’s meeting. Members of the Clarion University club will attend Cru’s Big Break at Panama City, a nationwide evangelism conference for students.

Additionally, senate allocated $500 to the Psychology Club for its trip to the annual meeting of the Eastern Psychological Association March 16 to 18. This year, the club will be traveling to Boston, Massachusetts.

Senate President Devon Vallies reported that on Thursday, March 2, Clarion University Activities Board, Student Senate, Bacchus Gamma and Delta Phi Epsilon will be hosting Jenni Scheaffer, a motivational speaker and author. Vallies encouraged student senate members to attend this event.
