The UAB provided games and music on both nights.

On Friday, there were free games, pizza and drinks. Chartwells provided chicken wings and drinks on Saturday.

Freshman Elizabeth Lindstrom, Ben Gallaher and Acacia Rose all attended both nights of the event.

Lindstrom, an exploratory business major, said the event was relaxing and gave her a chance to socialize.

Education major Gallaher said the Thanksgiving Extravaganza was fun. He enjoyed the crafts and board games. Gallaher also commented that the second night of the event was better because more people attended.

Rose also preferred the second night. A pre-pharmacy major, Rose said the event was nice and that she felt the second day was better advertised.

Along with the food, drinks, music and board games, there were also crafts for the students to enjoy as they socialized.

On Friday night there was a cornucopia craft, which included two foam pieces and foam stickers for the fruits and vegetables.

The second night included a leaf scratch art craft with black leaf-shaped sheets. When the top black layer was scratched off, it revealed coloring for the leaves.

The UAB is located in 249 Gemmell Student Complex. For more information on upcoming events, contact the UAB at uab@clarion.edu or visit the group on Facebook at “Clarion University Activities Board – UAB.”
